Sensorsoft Linux Temperature Monitoring Package:

This plug and go package has everything you need to use your network-enabled Linux workstation or server to monitor, log, send pager, and e-mail alerts to protect rooms or equipment from temperature problems. This package includes Alltronix Thermometer, SCOM-LINUX-1 SCOM Tool software for Linux, C2000 cable, F1000 Velcro fastener, Quick Start Guide, and User’s Manual.

Sensorsoft Linux Temperature Monitoring Package:

Sensorsoft Thermometer (RS232):

Suited for monitoring rooms or warehouses. Measures temperature between -40 C and +60 C (-40 F to +140 F). It has an RS232 RJ45 communications jack (J suffix) and 2.1 mm external power jack. Requires 200X modular cable, see Cables below. Software or appliance is required or it can be used with simple text commands.

Sensorsoft Thermometer (RS232):

Suited for monitoring rooms or warehouses. Measures temperature between -40 C and +60 C (-40 F to +140 F). Includes integrated 20 ft., color-matched serial communications cable (C suffix) with molded DB-9F connector. Software or appliance is required or it can be used with simple text commands.

Mounting Kit for Sensorsoft Probe Thermometers:

Provides a means for mounting/routing the probe and cable of Sensorsoft Probe Thermometers in refrigerators, coolers and freezers. Kit contains six adhesive backed fasteners and instruction sheet. Suitable for use with models ST6154J and SS8002.

Sensorsoft Thermometer with external sensor probe (RS232):

Measures temperature between -55 C and +125 C (-67 F to +257 F). Suited for applications where the sensor probe needs to be located outdoors, immersed in a liquid or slipped into a hard to reach the place. The stainless steel probe is 15.2 cm (6″) long with 1.2 m (4 ft.) long, high-temperature silicone rubber cable. Probe diameter is 6 mm (1/4″). Connectors include RS232 (RJ-45) communications jack (J suffix) and 2.1 mm external power jack.

Measures relative humidity (0 and 100 % RH) and temperature (-40 C and +60 C, -40 F to +140 F). Suited for monitoring rooms or warehouses. Sensorsoft Real-Time Water Flooding Sensor (RS232):

Detects the presence or absence of water in various environments with a WET or DRY indication in the software. This communications module works in junction with the required C5000 or C5001 product below. Requires 200X modular cable, see Cables below. Software or appliance is required.

Sensorsoft Water Sensing Spot Detector:

For use with the SS6201J communications module shown above. Suitable for detecting water that is confined to a specific area or spot. This encapsulated module can be fully submerged. Two mounting holes (0.182 in, 4.6 mm dia) permit it to be firmly attached to a surface with user provided hardware.

Sensorsoft Real-Time Power Failure Sensor (RS232):

This boolean sensor detects availability of AC mains power and subsequent loss. It has an RS232 RJ45 modular communications jack (J suffix) connector. Includes PA6209 or PA6109 mains power adapter and C200X modular host communications cable. Software or appliance is required – not included.

Conformal Coating:

Add conformal coating to ST6105C or SS6610C. Recommended for freezer/cooler applications and where condensation is present.

USB to Serial Adapter:

Connect a Sensorsoft device to a USB port (DB9M to USB male A-type). Includes driver CD for mapping USB port as a COM port that can be accessed by software applications like SDS, RWMC and RWMS. This product uses the Prolific chip.

PoE Injector/Adapter:

This boolean sensor detects availability of AC mains power and subsequent loss. It has an RS232 RJ45 modular communications jack (J suffix) connector. Includes PA6209 or PA6109 mains power adapter and C200X modular host communications cable. Software or appliance is required – not included.

D-Link PoE Adapter Kit:

Can be used to power an ethernet device where a PoE switch is not available. Kit provides base-injector unit and terminal unit. This kit is not compatible with 802.3af specification or PoE switches

Sensorsoft Real-Time Contact and Voltage Sensor (RS232):

Detect the state of 12 dry contact and 3 voltage sources in real-time. Two SPDT relays can be used to control door solenoids, audible alarms or other similar loads. This product can be powered by the serial port, if built-in relays are not used. It accepts a peripheral power adapter for powering solenoids, motion sensors, glass-break and smoke detectors.

Sensorsoft Real-Time Contact and Voltage Sensor (Ethernet):

Detect the state of 12 dry contact and 3 voltage sources in real-time. Two SPDT relays can be used to control door solenoids, audible alarms or other similar loads. This unit connects directly to a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet hub or switch and can be assigned an IP address. No device server is required.

Sensorsoft Relay with built-in DPDT relay and terminal strip (RS232):

This device can control the ON/OFF state of most small equipment or loads. The serial communications jack (J suffix) is a modular RJ45 connector. Ask about our free Win32 command-line utility for turning the Sensorsoft Relay ON or OFF. Requires PA6109 or PA6209 power adapter and C200X modular cable.

Sensorsoft Audio Beacon and Relay with built-in DPDT relay/terminal strip (RS232):

This device can control the ON/OFF state of most small equipment or loads and has a 4 kHz 80 dBA audio beacon. A reset button can be used to manually shut-off the relay and audio beacon. The serial communications jack (J suffix) is a modular RJ45 connector. Ask about our free Win32 command-line utility for turning this device ON or OFF. Requires PA6109 or PA6209 power adapter and C200X modular cable.

Sensorsoft Water Sensing (rope) Cable:

For use with the SS6201J communications module as shown above. The cable length is 20 feet (6 m). Includes adhesive fasteners.

Sensorsoft Alert – 4 Port Appliance:

This standalone network (ethernet) ready appliance allows you to monitor up to four Sensorsoft devices or virtually any sensor that has a supported Sensorsoft Plug-in. Sensors plug into RJ-45 jacks on the unit. Sensors and C2016 cables are not included and must be ordered separately. The unit plugs into an ethernet switch or hub using its RJ-45 10/100 interface and can be managed from a web browser or SNMP NMS.

RTD Temperature Probe:

Stainless steel probe with three-position connector plugs into the above SS1015 product. Probe covers the temperature range of -200 C to +600 C. Probe is 1/4″ diameter. Other diameters (3/16″ and 1/8″) are available on request and for an additional cost. The 1/4″ diameter probe is shown in the image.

Sensorsoft RTD Cryogenic Thermometer:

This product uses an embeddded Sensorsoft Alert appliance (described above) along with a specialized A/D module to provide a turn-key solution for monitoring low and cryogenic temperatures. This product finds its application in monitoring freezers, where you need to protect the storage of tissue,
